Hotel Review: Atlantis The Palm
Having opened in September 2008 with a spectacular fireworks display in the presence of the world’s glitterati, the 1,539-room resort has since become the biggest attraction on The Palm Jumeirah. If the business of living is stressing you out, this is where you should head for a glam staycation.
The fairytale-like resort encompasses a 46-hectare site; 17 hectares of this make up the thrilling waterpark, Aquaventure. Extensive fresh and saltwater pools and lagoons, an open-air marine habitat, endless beaches and legendary beach parties, luxury boutiques, signature restaurants… you can experience everything at Atlantis. The only thing you can’t do is get bored.
A stunning array of sculptures, artwork and handpainted murals create a unique environment inside the resort and outside it too. The rooms have distinct aquatic themes and the super suites are lavishly designed spaces the other side of opulent.
You just have to eat at Nobu (the black cod, of course!), party at Nasimi, swim with the dolphins and explore The Lost Chambers.
This awe-inspiring Bridge Suite spans the Royal Towers, above the signature arch of Atlantis. Relax in vast lounges, two spacious terraces and three beautiful bedroom suites. Request a drink or two from your dedicated butler as you enjoy stunning views.
There’s also a reception lounge, a dining area with a gold-leaf table seating 16 guests, and a library with an impressive state-of-the-art media centre.
